At the SheShed, we have spaces available to suit a range of events, launches & corporate get togethers

SheShed spaces are available for venue hire for meetings and events. An eclectic fusion of Aztec meets sleek industrial our spaces are unique and inviting.

She Shed event spaces are perfect for

The SheShed also has an in house team of photographers, videographers and even a event planner. There is an overflow outdoor space which allows for indoor/outdoor flow, with accommodation for a food truck. All spaces allow for offsite catering.

Please note we do not host 18th, 21st, 40th parties at the SheShed. We do not have the facility to heat, store or manage food preparation - for this reason we have a comprehensive list of local food trucks and off site food caterers to help with your event.

All event or meeting venue hire at the SheShed have use of the following:
  • 5 meters of seating tables (seats up to 20)
  • 3x standing industrial styled bar style seating tables with bar stools
  • 2x industrial styled tables for general use, catering etc
  • 11 meter black peg board wall ideal for art exhibitions or showing items (BYO wall mounting)
  • 2 x Bathrooms with single toilet (not wheel chair friendly)
  • Bluetooth music system
  • Free Wifi
  • 3 meter pull down projector screen and projector (workshop space
You can add on the following in your event or meeting venue hire at an extra charge:
  • hands on workshop for your team
  • access to our list of local music artisans
  • cafe complete with a staff member (prices discounted if booked upfront)

the upper room

Upper room has a seating/meeting space capacity of up to 20 people.

Upper room has a seating workshop/meeting space capacity of up to 20 people. This space has rustic old wooden floors, super old black VJ paneling on the walls, black ceiling and beautiful down lights over the almost 5 meter table. Where ever you look we have stunning art (all for sale) that is rotated monthly by a local artist whom we support. The space has been described by many as a eclectic fusion of Aztec meets industrial.

This upper room space is popular with regular small to medium team meetings with or without a workshop add on, also with use of the cafe (nothing like having Kai coffee on tap) & our lounge area.

If you have a specific style of event in mind with up to 20 people, we can probably make it work in the upper room.  If you book an event and add in a hands on workshop we include all glassware into your hire.

This space has a strict BYO alcohol policy. You can not sell alcohol - no exceptions!
Being we are in a residential area, She Shed must be vacated by no later than 11pm. Please note, all people must be inside the venue and the roller doors closed after 10pm.

Alcohol is to be consumed inside She Shed only.

the workshop room

The Workshop has seating capacity of 35, standing up to 60 people 90 if including the overflow outside area.

This space has been nick named the "workshop" as it is the old auto electrics car workshop, it has a hand poured concrete floor, an 11 meter black peg board wall, and copious natural light from the 3 roller doors.

This space is ideal for larger events, standing or seated. All fixtures are movable which make it ideal if you are  launching a product, having a gallery night, fine art exhibition or even hosting a small business launch or daily retreat. Having the ability to over flow to out side means you can have a local food truck & musician.

The Christmas month means that you can organise your Christmas function and add on a hands on workshop session, a paint & sip, cock/mocktail workshop or even a fun but relaxing clay & sip event.

  • 2x freestanding industrial benches for general use and catering
  • 11 meter peg board wall for hanging of art etc
  • large wash basin
  • blue tooth sound system for music

This space has a strict BYO alcohol policy. You can not sell alcohol. - no exceptions!

the extras

  • we have a covid safe plan.
  • there are appropriate hygiene facilities throughout the facility eg: hand sanitiser stations
  • appropriate checking in procedures using government QR codes where required
  • we will clean appropriately before during and after events
  • we do not prepare or store food on site - you will need to organise an offsite caterer, allow your guests to BYO or ask us for a list of preferred food vendors
  • there is strictly no sale of alcohol. BYO only. NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • She Shed is covered by its own Public Liability insurance.
  • being we are in a residential area, all amplified noise must be switched off by 10pm, guests to be inside venue at 10pm She Shed must be vacated by no later than 11pm.
  • please do not park around the back of the building or that of our neighbours buildings, there is plenty of off street parking down the local side roads.
  • total building capacity including the outdoor overflow area is around 180-200 people
  • we can seat up to 60 - 70 people in the whole building at one time.
  • fees must be paid prior to the booking taking place
  • there is a cleaning fee of *$100 on all private hire events.(*not required for venue hire classed as a meeting)
  • we have only 2 bathroom/powder rooms, for larger events we would suggest hiring a porta loo
